Emotional Resolution Therapy


What is Emotional Resolution Therapy?


Emotional Resolution is all about looking after your emotional health and this is just as important as caring for your physical health, because people who are emotionally healthy are in control of their emotions and behaviour. By using these techniques and taking a flexible approach to you unique issues, you can overcome emotions associated with phobias, bereavement closure, resolve recurring negative emotions and much more. It can be the key to opening up your mind, removing that negative tunnel vision that blurs the path to your future. When something terrible happens to you, such as loosing a loved one, the break up of relationship, financial worries and numerous other events that affect you, its difficult to see the road ahead or even a future. It could be you have conflict at work or in your pesonal life and it cuases such distress that you start to avoid work or deal with things in a manner that causes more upset and anger. If what have been doing so far has not worked so its time to to think again and use a fresh approach. Emotional Resolution is not about using one tool or technique, its not about making judgements about you or the way you deal with situations, its about finding resolutions for you and helping you to help yourself do things differently so you do get the outcomes in whatever situation you find yourself in. Having said this you can only control; the controllable, which is your state that you present to a given situation, thought or feeling.

What can emotional resolution be used for?


Phobia:


altEmotional resolution allows your therapist to look in depth as to how a Phobia develops, elicit the underlying issues and bring about a more useful state. It could mean addressing the emotional sensitizing event in a  disassociate state which is possible  with the combined use techniques and tools. A phobia can be quickly and easily removed by  collapsing the negative anchors and limiting beleives and installing postive anchors and then testing the effectiveness of the treatment by future pacing repeatedly, you can be confident that the fear you associated with the initial sensitizing event has gone and move on with your life. Working with Sub-Modalities:


A Sub-modality is the way you sense things such as brightness, volume, contrast, the way you feel things etc. Your mind is so powerful, whatever it thinks about it can bring to life,  if I ask you to think about a lemon, can you taste that bitter taste in your mouth or even imagine your face as you taste it, feel the texture of the lemon in your moth and hear the sounds you make when you taste the bitterness?  By adjusting a sub-modality you can bring about massive changes in your state, even though its not real, the mind perceives it as real and acts accordingly to change your emotions that you attach to a particular feeling or thought. This will enable you to achieve a desired state as opposed to your current state by using your own thoughts, feelings and imagination to bring about positive changes. Used alongside other NLP techniques such a modelling, Swish and Parts therapy you are more likely to achieve your goal and get to be what you want to be. Phenomenal results can be obtained in sporting excellence, increased performance in business, weight control, stress, anxiety, bad habits and so much more. If you can perceive it you can conceive it and achieve it, a thought is a thought only until you put into action and that what working with sub modalities can do for you.

Realisation and conflict resolution:


At times it is very difficult to see other peoples point of view, if it does not meet your own values and beliefs then conflict arises, and most of our emotions are the result of either love or fear. Realisation and conflict resolution  is about discovering how to help therapist, help you understand the cause of issues affecting your life, be it with relationships at home or at work, with your partner, a child or working relationships.  When conflict is mismanaged, it can harm relationships, but when handled in a respectful and positive way, conflict provides an opportunity for growth, ultimately strengthening the bond between two people or can help you to work more effectively in a team. Emotional resolution can give you the skills you need for successful conflict resolution, you can face disagreements with confidence and keep your personal and professional relationships strong and healthy and manage your state more easily.

Gestalt Therapy:


The Gestalt Therapy is an effective therapy, whereby fantastic change is achievable in a short space of time, including bereavement closure, management of heightened emotions and release of just about any negative thought and emotions. English usage the word Gestalt has come to mean ‘as a whole’ or ‘‘holistic’ and aims to help you by concentrating on your experience in the present moment and the environment in which you live. Gestalt therapy seems to be particularly beneficial for people who are rather ‘buttoned up’ when it comes to their emotions. But it can be used for a wide range of needs and encourages you to bring out hidden feelings and thoughts. The empty chair techniques is one techniques that helps you with anyone or anything that has brought you pain or discomfort, it gives you the opportunity to imagine can face someone who has left unanswered questions. You act out both parties, moving from one chair to another, asking questions and the answers flow freely, this is done in way that you are always safe and secure,  you find the answers you need to gain closure and move on.  Gestalt Therapy is Psychotherapy and has so many applications, it works in the here and now as often people who are experiencing difficulties in their lives carry with them ways of meeting the world that are based on situations in their past and which are no longer useful, so why keep them?  The therapist works with the you to recognise how you are relating in the present and explore new possibilities and supports you to become aware of your physical and emotional responses. This approach can lead to insight and change. Ultimately, Gestalt work can bring an increased self-awareness and well-being.
